Quisper brings together 7 partners from across Europe, including SMEs, universities, and corporations. The project is coordinated by the Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB, UK).

The partners are:

PepsiCo (UK)

PepsiCo (UK) will co-lead the dissemination plan for Quisper. It will also provide important industry contacts to assist in the mapping of stakeholders and facilitate dissemination in industry only fora.

Technische Universität München (DE)

TUM was a member of the QuaLiFY project is tasked with the establishment of an external Scientific Advisory Board for Quisper with the support of Uor and QiB. The Scientific Advisory Board will consist of a range of renowned scientific experts and will play a pivotal role in providing the validation of the Quisper platform content. Quality standards will form the backbone of the validation process, which will be developed with the support of TUM. In cooperation with UoR, TUM will also contribute to the development and validation of the EU-based Diet Quality Score (DQS) and the personalized nutrition app (e-Nutri).

University of Reading (UK)

UoR was a member of the Food4Me EU FP7 project which delivered personalized nutrition advice via an online business offering and will work
with QIB and TUM on scientific standards and governance and will be responsible for further development and validation of the personalized
nutrition (e-Nutri) app, integrating the novel Diet Quality Scores developed for European regions, modelling consumer food preferences involving
significant consumer engagement through subcontracting, and developing the additional services to be offered through Quisper. UoR will also
lead consumer engagement activities as part of the app development.

Quadram Institute Bioscience (UK)

QIB was a member of the QuaLiFY project and is the Quisper Activity Leader. QIB supports other academic partners (TUM & UoR) in the creation of the independent scientific advisory board, supplies data and knowledge rules, and sets up the scientific advisory principles that will govern the platform. It co-leads the business creation task with ShiftN, ensuring the legal entity is established and that appropriate business models are employed and works closely with the Hyve on the development and testing of the digital platform.

The Hyve will further development of the QSP structure.



EuroFIR has two roles in EITFood Quisper: (1) providing data (e.g. food composition) and knowledge rules (dietary reference intakes) and (2) with PepsiCo International, delivering dissemination and stakeholder engagement such as leaflets, social media posts, infographics. EuroFIR hosts and manages the project website (formerly QuaLiFY) and the Quisper website and is responsible for uploading new content.
